FUMCCG_Cheers to 90 years_UPDATE

We pray that each of you, and your loved ones, are safe following Hurricane Irma's landfall on Florida. If you haven't already done so, please post below or via email or on our Facebook page to let us know how are you doing and if your church family can help in any way. You are our most important priority and we will move forward together, in love.

  • Because of Irma's damaging impact on our area, we will have to postpone our "Rise Against Hunger" meal packaging event scheduled for September 16 to a later date yet to be determined. But as we can see in the devastating news images from all around the Caribbean and in Texas - and now in our very own Florida - the need for this meal packaging event has never been greater! Please stay connected to us - in person and via emails and our online channels - for the new date announcement coming soon.
  • We will be holding worship service this Sunday at every one of our usual times - 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 (traditional and Spanish) so please join us! Despite the damage around us, we have much to be thankful for - most importantly each other - and we look forward to spending precious time with all of you.

  • The Growing Place will resume operations on Monday, September 18th.

  • Our eagerly anticipated Alpha Course will start on Tuesday, September 19th.

We are happy to report that our beautiful campus fared well during Irma. No major damage has been detected so far and electricity is on throughout the campus! There is considerable tree and palm debris but work is already underway to clear out and restore as much of the landscaping as possible.

Please post below. Remember that we are here for you! See you Sunday!

Our heartfelt prayers are with all of our brothers and sisters impacted by Hurricane Irma and all of those recovering from Hurricane Harvey.
