DRIVE
Drive is a band comprised of gifted musicians who have the heart and passion to use their talents to lift the name of Jesus up on high. Coming from different ethnic backgrounds and musical influences, Drive has a very well-rounded repertoire for either live performances or in the leading of worship. 

Drive is the current touring band comprised of  teenagers, and has had members as young as thirteen. This band travels thousands of miles each year throughout the U.S. and its members remain in this band until the responsibilities and pressures of young adulthood make it difficult to tour, at which time they become members of the in-house praise and worship band at our church, First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables.

LIGHTHOUSE BAND

The Lighthouse Band is comprised of gifted musicians who have a heart to use their talents to lift up the name of Jesus. Coming from different ethnic backgrounds and musical influences, the Lighthouse has a very well-rounded repertoire for both live performances and worship leading.

The Lighthouse Band is primarily the in-house praise and worship band for the First United Methodist Church, but also does ministry at local establishments.  This year, playing music for inmates at a local prison, traveling to Latin America and a Thanksgiving-morning concert at a large homeless breakfast have been some examples of opportunities The Lighthouse Band has had to give back.
