Elementary

Elementary Sunday school is offered at 9:30 am and 11:00am

At 9:30 Grades 1 through 5, begin by worshiping with their parents in the service, and then are escorted to their Sunday school classrooms. At 11:00 children begin in their Sunday school classrooms; which are offered for ages 4 years old through 5th grade.  Every 3rd Sunday of the month, children of all ages are invited to participate in the monthly children’s message or Kid Talk. Here children are called up to the front of the service where they here a short message, then are dismissed to their Sunday school classrooms. Kid Talk is offered every 3rd Sunday at the 9:30am and 11:00am service.

Elementary Wednesday Program (Fall 2010 schedule coming soon)
Wednesdays are our days for children to learn about our Christian faith through a variety of fun, exciting, Bible-based activities. The program starts at 4:45pm, concludes at 6:30. Children begin the evening with Pastor Thom’s Playtime, an opportunity for children to play on the playground with Pastor Thom. The children then proceed into S.W.A.T.  Kids in which children learn a bible story and verse each week and make a craft. A child friendly dinner is served at 6:00pm for the children to enjoy with their family.

Vacation Bible School
This year VBS will be June 14-18 from 9:00am - 12:00 pm.  Children are welcome to enjoy another memorable week of praising Jesus through Vacation Bible School. It’s open to children ages 3 years old through 5th grade.

Music & Choir
Our Children’s Music Ministry offers four choirs: pre-school age children, Kindergarten, 1st - 3rd grade, and one for children in Grades 4th - 5th. We emphasize singing in worship, music education, performing musicals, and learning Biblical lessons through scriptural texts set to music. Rehearsals include handbells, percussion, dance, and drama and are on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Hanger Building.

Special Events
Throughout the year we offer a variety of terrific special events designed to be fun for kids of all ages – and their families! Highlights include:

              Family Night Kickoff (September)

• Bible Presentation-3rd grades (October)
• Meeting at the Manger (December)
• Happy Birthday Jesus (December)
• Christmas Eve Children’s Choir perform (December 24)
