 Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables where we believe that all people matter to God! At First Church, we celebrate the love of Jesus Christ through worship, small groups and service to our local and global community.
Whatever your worship preference, we have a service for you. At 8:30 am and 11:00 am every Sunday, we offer traditional services of fellowship and worship. If you prefer a new style of worship, join us at 9:30 am for our Awakening Service, where we offer a relevant message for today, enjoy contemporary music and drama and celebrate communion. For our Spanish speaking friends, we offer a service in Spanish at 9:30 am.
We also celebrate our faith through the ministry of small groups. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, we have found that a small group is a safe, inviting place where we share the joys and concerns of our everyday lives. In small groups, we learn to grow and experience a true relationship with ourselves, with each other and with Jesus Christ.
For more than 75 years, our church has also enjoyed a tradition of serving others. Through missions such as Habitat for Humanity, service to the homeless and Alfalit International, we are serving the needs of those at home and abroad while introducing people to Jesus Christ.
