HOW JESUS REVITALIZES YOUR LIFE

Part 1 of 5

John 20:19-31 – Easter Night in Galilee

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the authorities, Jesus came and stood among them and He said ‘Peace be with you.’  After He said this He showed them His hands and His side and the disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.  Again Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you.  As My Father has sent Me, I’m now sending you.’  With that He breathed on them and He said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.  If you forgive anyone his sins they are forgiven …”

Then Jesus tells Thomas ‘Because you have seen Me you have believed.  Blessed are those who have not seen and yet they believe.’  Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not recorded in this book.  But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and by believing you may have life in His name.  (NIV)

How do you typically unwind?

Isaiah 40:29, 31 (NLT)

Matthew 6:6

Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God.
