Weddings | Photography & Videography
Sanctuary rules:
1. Pictures and video may be taken of the bride, the wedding court and family in the Bride's Parlor before the ceremony.
2. In order to maintain the sacredness of the ceremony, the photographers and guests are asked not to take flash pictures during the actual ceremony. The photographer and videographer may take pictures (with lights) of the Processional and Recessional from the center of the middle aisle. They should be careful not to interfere with the wedding court at this time. If pictures are taken during the ceremony, the minister may stop and remind the photographer (or the guests) of the rule.
3. Video may be filmed, WITHOUT LIGHTS, during the wedding ceremony using only the existing lights in the church. The videographer must remain stationary in the choir loft during the ceremony. This is an excellent position and he will be able to capture the entire service.
4. Immediately following the ceremony the wedding party will return to the altar to recreate the wedding event in the time that remains.
Please take note:
- NO flash photos during the ceremony. Your guests, as well as your photographer, need to be made aware of this rule.
- NO videos with lights may be taped during the ceremony, however, videos may be taped in the choir loft and in the balcony as long as they are stationary, with NO lights.
- The photographer and videographer must be approved by the wedding hostess in advance.
